Lisa shares how she loved and was inspired by art growing up. She even taught art after college. Her mother Cherie was her biggest fan and influence. Cherie and three other friends started Ribbons in 1985. Lisa describes how hard it was to get a business loan or lease in the 80s. Lisa shares where the name Ribbons came from and how they have been an integral part of Midtown Tulsa. She talks about getting through Covid thanks to the help of their loyal customers.
